P.A.S.T. stands for Paranormal American Scientific Tours we are touring the nation doing Scientific Investigations with Historical Facts ...
There are a great many people out there offering "paranormal tours". You see them all over the place, "ghost tours," "paranormal tours," "ghost walks." These days they are in almost every town and have become a part of many peoples vacation itinerary. What we are offering to be honest I have a real problem calling "tours" which is bad considering our name contains the word "tours" in it. Yes, it is a tour that we are offering but it is so much more than that. What we are offering is the opportunity to take part in a real life scientific paranormal investigation. There are a few others who are trying to do what we do and true, some of them have been around for longer than we have, but, we are going to do it way better than the others are. Other groups may have some very sensitive and expensive scientific instruments but the chances you are going to get your hands on them are about the same as my chances of getting Reese Witherspoon on the phone and her saying, "sure, I will leave my husband and be right over." It is not going to happen. Many groups simply do not have the equipment as it is too costly. I have seen images of those groups who bill themselves as "Professional paranormal investigators" conducting tours and their customers are standing around holding dousing rods. I understand a group not having the money to invest in a $4,000 thermal camera or a $2,000 night vision DVR system but to then bill yourselves as conducting true paranormal tours and worst of all to try and sell others on that is extremely offensive to me. The only thing worse than not having the proper equipment is to have the proper equipment but then not let others use that equipment. It does me no good to have a $6,000 thermal imaging camera only to leave it in the case and say, "that will come in great on our next investigation." One of the things that separates us from all others out there is that if I have a $6,000 thermal imaging camera then the customer will have a $6,000 thermal imaging camera for a few hours. I can understand that the other groups out there do not want their equipment damaged and believe me neither do I . All of my equipment is insured and while I most certainly plan on taking all precautions necessary to insure against any damage I actually want my customers to be able to utilize all the equipment that is at our disposal. If you conduct a tour and all you are willing to let customers use is a $29 EMF meter then what is to stop that customer from simply going out and spending the money on an EMF meter of their own that they can use whenever they want? That would certainly be what I would do and if I sunk money into an investigation but then found out I was not allowed to use all that was at their disposal I would not be pleased.
We want our clients to be pleased and we know that they will be. We want the places we go to such as the Brumder Mansion to have an equally rewarding experience and we trust that they will. We want to educate people in the history of a particular area, and we want them to have a great understanding of what it is like to conduct true scientific research. Most of all we want them to have a great time! This is not a show. If you want some kind of a show their are plenty of good haunted houses all over the country you can go to. This is the real thing!
PAST uses scientific investigative techniques & instruments. We are historians so when investigating we give people historical information
